Donald Trump announces his collection of personal NFT

Former US President Donald Trump announced a personal collection in the form of NFT images showing part of his life and career.

As revealed by the popular politician’s social media platform Truth Social, the NFT digital card collection “Donald Trump” resembles the baseball card collection.

Each NFT card is sold to the former US President for $99.

All NFT purchases also enter buyers into a lottery, giving people a chance to meet Donald Trump in person.

In addition, those who buy a large number of NFT will guarantee dinner with the president.

Some digital collectibles include images of Trump playing golf, others of him in space, a football field, and others of him dressed as a cowboy.

The former US President’s NFT page explained:

Trump Cards (NFTs) aim to be collectible items for individual enjoyment only, not as investment instruments.

Melania Trump, the wife of US President Donald Trump, had earlier released an NFT on Solana network depicting her eyes and jewellery.

Donald Trump has generally been highly critical of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the past, calling the industry a scam.

Microsoft prohibits crypto mining from its servers… Details here

Microsoft has amended the terms of its policy to make it clear that cryptocurrency mining on its online services is not permitted without prior authorization.

The upgrade, which applies to all users, including premium subscribers to Microsoft Services, came into effect in December.

Microsoft prohibits cryptocurrency mining:

The upgrade prevents users from mining via Microsoft’s online services, especially those related to its cloud platform Azure.

Mining is the process of verifying transaction records and adding them to the blockchain based on high performance devices and specialized programs.

The amended terms of general licensing for Microsoft Services, which can be found within the acceptable usage policy on Microsoft’s website, are as follows:

Neither the customer, nor those accessing online services through the “customer”, may use online services… To mine cryptocurrencies without the prior written consent of Microsoft.

This decision makes Microsoft compatible with other major companies, such as Google, which restricts cryptocurrency mining on its cloud platforms without prior approval.

Mining is prohibited for users on the free level of Amazon Web Services as well.

Microsoft and Mining Services:

Microsoft said in an official statement to the media:

Cryptocurrency mining can disrupt or even weaken online services and their users, often associated with unauthorized access to and use of customers’ accounts.

The update was mentioned in a statement distributed to Azure users as one of several steps taken to protect the partner ecosystem, which refers to partner companies that help enroll software customers in Azure’s cloud services.

Malware mining is on the rise:

Microsoft issued a warning to its users about a new malware designed for cryptocurrency mining that was able to steal passwords, remove security measures, spread them via email, and eventually remove more features designed for human-run activities.

Cryptocurrency mining malware, dubbed “LemonDuck”, is designed to infect Windows and Linux computers.

The malware spread across multiple countries, including India, through phishing emails, and various other exploits.
